Irving A. Dark
Senior Director of Operations

Irving Dark is Senior Director of Operations at Veristat Inc., and is primarily responsible for overseeing project management, data management and information technology. Prior to joining Veristat Inc., Mr. Dark served as an International Project Manager at PAREXEL International Corporation. In this capacity, he managed phase I - III clinical studies conducted in the US and internationally. In addition, Mr. Dark was responsible for strategic planning and coordination of inter-departmental resources for NDA submissions. Prior to moving into project management, Mr. Dark held positions of increasing responsibility in the Statistical Programming Services group at PAREXEL. As Manager of SAS programming, Mr. Dark was responsible for coordination of statistical programming activities to analyze and report data from phase I - IV clinical studies in accordance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines. Mr. Dark began his career in the pharmaceutical industry at PAREXEL in 1995 as a Senior Statistical Programmer. In this capacity, he served as the technical lead for a multi-company collaboation conducting HIV/AIDS research. Mr. Dark was the lead programmer for an NDA program in an oncologic indication. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Dark worked as a data analyst at Women & Infants Hospital, Department of Pediatrics and was responsible for data management and statistical programming activities. Mr. Dark holds a BA in Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
