John Balser, PhD, and Barbara Balser, VMD, founded Veristat Inc., in 1994 with the intent of providing high-level statistical and medical consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Since its inception, the company's client base has steadily grown, largely based on referrals from other clients. Most of our projects have been derived as repeat business from satisfied clients. However, Veristat remains a relatively small company by design. Our size enables the company's principal staff to work closely with our clients on an individualized basis and allows flexibility to quickly adjust to their changing needs.

Veristat provides strategic consulting, data management, biostatistical, SAS programming, and medical writing services in support of the initiation and finalization of clinical studies. At the beginning of your study, Veristat provides strategic consulting regarding clinical study design, prepares protocols, calculates sample sizes, and designs case report forms. After completion of your clinical study, Veristat provides data entry and management services, conducts biostatistical analyses, produces statistical tables and listings, and prepares final clinical study reports. During the conduct of your clinical study, Veristat personnel are available to assist you with planning and implementing solutions to anticipated and unanticipated problems that affect study finalization.
